July 2026
July was full of celebration, connection, and community spirit here in Solano County.
Whether you spent the month at a Fourth of July celebration, enjoying warm summer evenings by the water, or discovering a new favorite spot, I hope you found time to make a few great memories.
Here's a look back at July and a few things to enjoy as we head into the rest of summer.

Guest speaker Paul LeJoy walked us through his own path in real estate investing and what it actually takes to build lasting wealth through property, practical, no-fluff insights from someone who's been doing this for over 20 years. Sessions like this are exactly why I love being part of this community. Always learning, always growing. |

Freddie Mac's average rate for a 30-year fixed mortgage rose to 6.58% for the week ending July 23, the highest it's been all year and the second straight week of increases. Rates had dipped as low as 6.43% just a few weeks earlier before climbing back up.
If you got a pre-approval or payment estimate during that earlier dip, it's worth double-checking those numbers now, since they may already be a bit out of date.
and so does moving. Whether it's retirement, divorce, becoming an empty nester, or helping aging parents get settled somewhere new, know that you have options.
You don't have to have everything figured out. Start with a conversation and take it one step at a time.
